The Kentucky Cybersecurity & Forensics Conference is an anual cybersecurity event held by all the National Center of the Academic Excellence (CAE) institutes in Kentucky. This year, the KCFC2024 is held in person by Northern Kentucky University. This Cybersecurity and Forensics conference offers an ideal venue for networking with peers from academics, government, and industry for education, collaboration, and innovations.
The NKU College of Informatics is proud and honored to host the 2024 annual Kentucky CAE Conference i.e. the Kentucky Cybersecurity and Forensics Conference (KCFC) on Saturday, October 19, 2024. The KCFC is a cybersecurity conference that is hosted annually by one of Kentucky’s higher education institutions that has earned the designation of a National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity (NCAE-C) through NSA accreditation. This conference will feature papers, posters, workshops, and presentations on a variety of cybersecurity topics.
In an age marked by rapid technological progress, the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity has become a pivotal area of focus. This year’s KCFC celebrates connection between these two areas of research, acknowledging AI's pivotal role in strengthening security while also recognizing the distinct challenges it presents. The conference aims to explore cutting-edge research, share insightful perspectives, and unravel the intricacies of this dynamic relationship.

We invite submissions (full papers, short papers, posters/work-in-progress, & workshops) on all areas related to cybersecurity. Given this year’s conference theme, we welcome submissions featuring findings demonstrably beneficial in enhancing the application of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, particularly those addressing insights gleaned from practical implementations. Submissions will be accepted through the Microsoft Conference Management Toolkit, and the submission process will open by end of May, and the submission portal link will be announced plus posted on this website. Submissions covering, but not limited to, the following areas, are welcome.
