Jar
This is a modern black on buff painted jar from Chihuahua, Mexico reflecting the prehistoric Casas Grandes pottery style. There are interlocking triangle designs on the exterior surface of the jar. At the top there are five upside down triangles surrounding the opening of the jar with patterned indentations. Interlaced with this are painted black triangles with cross-hatching designs filling them in. The black painted triangle design continued almost until the rounded base of the jar. These designs are separated by plain bands.
