Academies are designed specifically for high school students who want to really experience some next-level STEM.

STEM-loving teens elevate their summer while:

Electrical and Electronics Engineering Academy

Join us for an immersive week of hands-on electrical and electronic engineering projects! Discover the fascinating realms of electric, digital, and analog circuits. Then unleash your creativity through engineering design, crafting circuits, and assembling motors, while experiencing the magic of Arduinos and microcontrollers. If you’re considering an engineering career or just love experimenting with technology, this is a must-have summer experience!

At NKU’s Best Research Academy in Neuroscience (B.R.A.I.N.), you’ll dive into fascinating neuroscience experiments that connect directly to your life.Explore the brain up close by conducting EEGs, dissecting animal brains, and studying neurochemistry, neuroanatomy, and neurobehavior. Using NKU’s state-of-the-art neuroscience labs, you’ll work hands-on alongside professionals to uncover the mysteries of the mind.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations made more than four (4) weeks before the camp/academy start date will receive a full refund, minus the $25 seat-holding fee. Refunds will not be given for cancellations at or after the four-week mark.

Scholarship Policy

Scholarships are available for up to two (2) camps/academies per child for families eligible for free or reduced lunch. To apply, families must provide proof of eligibility at registration. Scholarships cover the full camp/academy cost, minus a $25 seat-holding fee, which is due at registration.

Additionally, this sponsorship allows CINSAM to offer scholarships to low-income students who meet the requirements for the "Free & Reduced Meal" programs in KY, IN and OH.
