Follow these steps and you'll be all set for the start of classes. Additionally, undergraduates can check their application status page anytime for personalized updates and next steps!
Your status page is your personalized hub for admissions updates and next steps. Visit it here:
First, locate your NKU username on your application status page. Three days after you've been admitted, you'll also receive an email containing your NKU username and your next steps in the admissions process.
If you've been admitted and have not yet received an NKU username, ensure that you've completed all the missing fields in your application status page profile. One to two days after you've filled out the missing fields, you'll receive your username.
After you've completed this step:
You'll use this username and password to log in to your NKU email, myNKU portal, and more. Your myNKU portal is used for many things, including financial aid, registering for courses after you've met with your advisor, paying your tuition, and much more.
Your NKU username and password is required to apply for additional scholarships. Click here to view details and start your application.
The submission deadline is January 16th at 11:59 PM (EST). Once submitted, all application information will be released to the colleges and scholarship committees for review. As recipients are selected, the Office of Student Financial Assistance, along with the colleges/scholarship committees, will be notifying students of any scholarship offers. The application is used exclusively to identify eligible recipients for the awards listed on this page.
Learn more about New Student Orientation
Beginning in mid-March, once a student submits their confirmation fee, they will receive an invite via email to select a summer orientation date. Orientation dates are available on a first-come, first serve basis. The sooner you confirm your enrollment, the greater flexibility you'll have when selecting your orientation date!
Students are required to attend both Orientation & Extended Orientation in preparation for their first NKU classes. Students must also submit an orientation fee, which can be accessed by visiting your myNKU portal and following the confirmation fee steps above.
